I bought this toy from a little Discover Toys show hosted at a friend’s house. The purchase was for my 9 month old at the time, but my soon to be 3 year old loves this toy! The 9 month old loves shaking it. My two year old begs me to sit at the other end of our hardwood floored hallway and roll this caterpillar super fast in his direction and then he returns it in the same fashion. This toy has run into walls, furniture, and occasionally is knocked off balance by our little 10 lbs dog that gets all stirred up when this thing is racing around. It really is a hoot and our baby just laughs with sheer glee when it rolls by. Such a fun little toy that doesn’t require batteries and gives lots of smiles!

The set was very cute and was the only sports theme that I found without a soccer ball (My boyfriend and I dislike soccer.) The only difference from the picture is that instead of the background color being white it’s actually like a light-medium beige. Also the material is a bit… well… sort of cheap and the bumper pads dont have as much padding as other’s. Also the bumper pads did not go all the way around the crib, there was one end that doesnt have them. Perhaps my crib is alot bigger? Who knows.

Chair pad arrived next day and surpassed all of my expectations! We are awaiting the arrival of our 1st grandchild this year. I couldn’t wait to get out the family high chair(75+ yrs old) used by the past 3 generations (my father, myself and my children). How exciting to thing that the 4th generation will be using it soon, only with a great new look and feel. Chair pad seems nicely cushioned and with elastic strap across the back will fit different chair sizes. The red gingham is too cute and my favorite feature is the side pads attached to back pad, makes larger chair more infant friendly. Although it is no problem for for us, I wanted to mention that the seperate seat pad does not have a hole for strap to come up through. Our strap is at front of seat, so no worries, but if your between legs strap is situated back from the edge of chair seat, bottom cushion might not work well. Other than that, this chair pad is perfect.

I tried potty training my 22-month old with regular underwear, but after one day, I saw that every time he wet his pants it ran onto the floor and in between the tiny cracks in our hardwood floors. Ick! After trying to clean between the floorboards twice, I gave up and immediately ordered these training pants, and re-started potty training once they arrived. They did the trick. When my son had an accident, the training pants and his clothes got wet, making him realize what happened, but his shoes and the floors were dry. The clean-up was much easier. As he improved, he would wet the training pants just a bit, realize he was about to have an accident, and stop and go do the rest on the toilet. The training pants are just absorbent enough to keep these mini-accidents off his clothes. So all I had to change were the training pants–his clothes were dry! Now he wears them as regular underwear; they are super soft, and he loves them. My one recommendation is that you buy more than one package. Three pairs are not enough to make it through the day when you are first starting, particularly with boys. I got by with two packages by doing a load of wash every day. It’s not a waste, since they can wear them as regular underwear once they get the hang of things. Thanks to these training pants, my son is not yet two, and is already potty trained! (And my floors are no longer a bio-hazard.)
